Dwayne Ferguson is the founder and president of BlackXchange.net. Mr. Ferguson was born into a family of entrepreneurs. His father is the author of a book and owns a business management consulting company. His mother managed a major clothing store for 25 years. His sister started a chain of preschools at the age of 17, one of which is the second largest preschool in central California. At age five, Mr. Ferguson started a small business of his own, selling mazes that he designed himself.

After attending college where he majored in psychology and childcare, he worked to gain an understanding of preschool operations. For eight years he learned the fundamentals of running a successful corporation. After gaining this valuable experience, Mr. Ferguson started Over Color Design/Print, a marketing company. He built Over Color from a home based business run largely from his car with a laptop computer into a large firm with over 4,000 clients nation-wide. While a successful entrepreneur, Mr. Ferguson recognized the need for effective networking in the Black business world. He decided to meet this need by creating BlackXchange.net. This company is now one of the fastest growing Black Business Directories online.
