Home From Work
Rising housing costs create problems for people who can't afford to live close to their jobs. The Home From Work program encourages REALTORS® to become advocates for expanding housing opportunities. Specifically, the program teaches REALTORS® how to effectively promote workforce housing initiatives at the grassroots level and to work with public and private-sector employers to establish an employer assisted housing (EAH) benefit.

The Home From Work Program
Home From Work is a three-hour training class for REALTORS® and affiliate members, taught by professional instructors. In several states, continuing education credit is offered to attendees.
Program Goals
The goals of the Home From Work training program are to educate REALTORS® on the benefits of employer assisted housing and how to reach out to employers. Armed with this information, the program provides all the tools necessary for REALTORS® to work with area employers to promote housing opportunities for their work force and to become advocates for expanding housing opportunities.
